For Sacred Scripture is the word of God in as much as it is consigned to writing under the inspiration of the divine Spirit… Sacred Tradition takes the word of God entrusted by Christ the Lord and the Holy Spirit to the Apostles, and hands it on to their successors in its full purity.

Scripture and Sacred Tradition are the 2 pillars of Catholic teachings. God is the source of both. Do I pay due respect to Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition?

God, My Loving Father, I thank you for the precious gifts of Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. May I always pay due respect to both, recognizing their close connection and honoring them with loyalty and reverence. Amen.
