Regulation of the sacred liturgy depends solely on the authority of the Church, that is, on the Apostolic See and, as laws may determine, on the bishop.

REFLECTION
No matter where I go in the world when I enter a Catholic Church, the celebration of the Eucharist will remain consistent. The liturgical celebration serves as a unifying factor in the Church; hence, a certain amount of uniformity is maintained in the celebration of the liturgy. Do I understand the richness of this sacrament and approach the liturgical celebration with the utmost care?

PRAYER
God, my loving Father, I thank you for the Apostolic Succession bestowed upon the Church. Help us to respect church authorities and accept the teachings with due reverence. Amen.
