The two parts, namely, the liturgy of the Word and the Eucharistic liturgy, are so closely connected with each other that they form one single act of worship.

REFLECTION
Nourished by God’s word at the Altar of the Word, we move to the Altar of Sacrifice and are nourished by Christ’s Body and Blood. The Word comes alive in the consecration of the Eucharist. Do I give importance to every part of the Eucharist?

God, my Loving Father, thank your constant presence in our lives and our liturgy. Open our minds and hearts so that we may be enlightened by Your Word. Amen.
